You’ve made the decision to have Creative Homes build your new home. Great! The home-site and plans you have selected, along with all your other decisions, will be included in a detailed specification sheet. This will be part of the sales agreement forms both you and Creative Homes will sign. The process for building your home has now begun!
Once you have signed the purchase agreement, finalizing the details for financing is next. You are allotted 10 business days to complete a mortgage application and provide Creative Homes with your pre-approval letter.
At Creative Homes, we offer unique home designs but also understand the importance of having the ability to personalize your home. Your home should be a reflection of you. Our Selections Coordinator will guide you through the process of making the interior and exterior selections for your new home. This is a 4 to 6 hour meeting that will take place at our Design Center during normal business hours. Our Selections Coordinator will contact you after you have completed your structural sign off. Also, keep in mind as we love kids, we ask that they do not come to these meetings.
The time has come to “put a shovel in the ground” and begin the construction of your new home. One of our Neighborhood Builders will be assigned to your project, and will manage the construction of your new home from “dig to close”. We encourage visiting your home while it is under construction. To do so, you just need to schedule a site visit with your Neighborhood Builder or New Home Specialist.
Move-In Day is almost here! Your Welcome Home Orientation is conducted by our Customer Care Coordinator who has the privilege of introducing you to your new home and its many features. Your project’s Neighborhood Builder will contact you roughly one week in advance to schedule this final walk through prior to closing on your new home. Your Welcome Home Orientation will take place during normal business hours and will take approximately 2 hours.
